“…More than 50 years and a successful business career later, Edwards is back in the classroom at Nashville School of Law.

Edwards, 73, of Murfreesboro, sits behind an iPad and wireless keyboard in the front row. He has to be close enough so he can hear. In a Monday class called "Restitution and Remedies," his hand shoots up above his balding dome twice to answer questions.

Edwards is the oldest student at the law school, which specializes in making a legal education accessible to all. Total tuition for the four-year program is comparable to a year elsewhere, and the classes are all at night. Many of the 513 students have other jobs. The youngest student is 21.…”
